Day shift
Parking available
The General Hand is responsible for undertaking general labouring duties at the factory. Your duties include:
- Assisting with the assembly of steel waste bins and in the yard
- Assisting with painting, sanding and stenciling bins
- Picking up parts where required
- Assisting tradesman in the manufacturing and maintenance and repair work
- Other heavy, unskilled labour work in the workshop
To be considered you will need the following skills and attributes:
- Experience operating steel fabrication equipment including metal Bandsaw, Sheet metal, Guillotine and Plate Rollers is required
- General Hand or Trade Assistant work experience
- Forklift licence is preferred
- Current and valid QLD drivers licence and reliable transpport
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
