JOB DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Services position is part of the Corporate and Information Services team which ensures the efficient and productive day to day operations of the Industrial Court of Queensland, Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and Industrial Registry.

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of quality corporate services including finance and procurement, Commission travel requirements, asset and building management, information services and general business administration.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide support to management in undertaking corporate functions including but not limited to asset management, finance (accounts payable), procurement and general business administration
    • Manage the publishing of decisions and information resources and assist with website updates
    • Administer the Commission's travel requirements for regional court hearings and conferences
    • Manage the maintenance requests for the Commission tenancy and assist with asset management
    • Liaise directly with Members and Associates to provide administrative and corporate assistance
    • Manage and provide a variety of administrative functions to the Court and Commission
    • Manage the corporate services mailbox including responding to enquiries & feedback
    • Identify corporate and operational issues, improvements, opportunities and recommend actions to support continual improvement

    • Proven ability to work under pressure, including exceptional time management skills, prioritise tasks, follow instructions and meet deadlines whilst being proactive and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
    • Proven ability to work without supervision and as part of a team environment
    • Ability to support the effective leadership and management within the Industrial Registry while maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to acquire thorough knowledge of corporate services, registry procedures, Queensland Government procedures and policies
