The Position

We are currently seeking applications from Clinical Educators with advanced generall medical skills to deliver, assess and evaluate Learning and Development programs and activities within our Main Theatre.
As a member of the divisional Learning and Development team, the Clinical Educator is responsible for the delivery, assessment and evaluation of Learning and Development programs and activities that reflect best practice standards to achieve excellence in service.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing education services and adult learning principles.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (including progression towards) will be highly regarded.
This position is offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Part Time basis offering 28 hours per fortnight.
The Successful Candidate Will Have

- Currently registered as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and mentoring/coaching skills with the ability to engage with a diverse workforce.
- Effective conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Well-developed understanding and demonstrated application of adult learning principles.
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of quality improvement and relevant Accreditation and licensing processes and associated links to learning and development programs that promote quality service delivery and safety.
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, blended learning strategies and a range of computer packages
