Join the Product Team of a growing global payment service provider (PSP) and Software as a Service (SaaS) business. This role will be focused on the Payment Products that ADVAM has, these being a global payment gateway and Unattended credit card terminals located all over the world.


Overall Objective:

The Business Analyst will work cohesively with the global ADVAM business, delivering the strategic outcomes of the Product Team. Key focus of the roll will be the release roadmap, detailed analysis of features, documenting customer/market/segment needs and ensuring the product features are aligning to the business goals. The role will also be establishing and embedding good practice Business Analysis activities, helping define and influence business requirements and ensuring clarity and understanding within delivery teams. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead Product Business Analyst on a the ADVAM Payment Products
  • Lead and guide information sessions with various stakeholders on product features and roadmaps. To both collect information on future features and provide guidance on chosen paths.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Creating functional and non-functional specifications for solutions​.
  • Create Product collateral and artifacts to support the Product delivery to customers.
  • Work closely with Sales, PMO & Pre-Sales to support improvements in end to end processes
  • Ensure solutions align with strategic business needs and requirements.
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Ability to undertake Business Analysis in an Agile environment.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in the payments industry
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information technology and(or) Business field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and facilitating presentations and Workshops.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Competency in Atlassian applications Jira/Tempo
  • An awareness of PCI DSS compliance and Payments industry.

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with software design and development principles

Education / Certifications:

  • Degree in computing technology or equivalent
  • BABOK or 3 years experience
  • IIBA or 3 years experience
