Salary Range: $86,114.00 - $119,482.00 (Plus Super)

About the role
A unique opportunity exists for a motivated experienced Clinical Coder based in the A.C.T to work within a team of dedicated and experienced coders with a focus on learning and development. In the near future the ability of remote coding will be an option.

What you bring
Applicants will be required to have completed HIMAA Certificate in Clinical Classification course or equivalent course in clinical Coding /or relevant Health Information degree including Clinical Coding units, with a minimum of 12 months coding experience in the acute hospital. An evaluation of the applicant’s skills in this area may be undertaken.
The remuneration is based on the A.C.T Clinical Coder competency requirements including skill levels and productivity in accordance with the ACTPS Support Services Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021 (SSEA). A clinical coder with demonstrated 12 months experience will start at clinical coder level 1.2 $$89,916 PA, with the option to be assessed for progression after 6 months.
