Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) is seeking a WebMaster to provide the technical administration and operation of ECSA’s public-facing website and Intranet, as well as assist with the technical and creative support for digital and print content, publications and forms. This may include graphic design, photo editing, animation, video and audio production.
Reporting to the Manager ICT, key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking end-to-end website development tasks, including planning and design work on the user interface and other graphics, creating development front and back ends, and testing, deploying and maintaining the end product,
- Designing, planning and implementing updates to the current content management system (CMS) as well as planning the future state for the organisation,
- Designing and publishing animations to support ECSA’s educational initiatives, and
- Designing, creating and publishing audio and video content.
Applicants with proven experience in creating and managing corporate Internet and Intranet environments using Microsoft Sharepoint, Joomla, CSS HTML 2.0 and Javascript are encouraged to apply.
Special Conditions
- This vacancy is offered on an ongoing basis.
- In order to not compromise the strict neutrality of the Commission, no person who is active in political affairs or intends to carry on this activity may be an employee.
- Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the Commission finds satisfactory.
- Extensive out of normal working hours duty is required during election events.
- Some intrastate travel may be required.
Remuneration
$92,784 to $98,143 per annum.
