Training and Workshop Coordinator - Online kids drama lessons and workshops

Bubblegum Casting is Australia’s longest running children’s talent agency, we have decided to open up classes to eager kids for weekends.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone to come into our business and assist us with getting our online Drama program and our face-to-face workshops running. This is a brand new, highly autonomous role and you will be crucial in building this program.
The current position offers between 8 - 22 hours a week but could result in more hours, over a minimum 18 month period.
WHO YOU ARE
You will love working with children.You have a strong background in teaching or performing arts and have gravitated toward education because you believe in the power of speech & drama to positively affect the lives of young people.
If you are an actor / performing artist, this position will only be suitable if you can commit to the agreed teaching times consistently each week for at least an 18 month period.
About the Role
This newly created role is key to the smooth delivery of training and workshops with the necessary skills and expertise. You’ll join our team to assist in running and coordinating online drama classes and face-to-face workshops.
Responsibilities Include:
- Logistical organisation of training, workshops and services
- Development of workshop flyers and expression of interest forms
- Sourcing and booking suitable venues and catering for workshops
- Booking travel for Facilitators including airfares, accommodation and hire cars
- Dissemination and collection of Facilitator Workshop Reports and evaluation surveys
- Liaison with external clients, evaluators and providers
- Responding to participant enquiries and specific requirements in relation to workshops, training or service logistics
- Assisting with recruitment of new Facilitators and fielding enquiries
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Managing national workshop and online training programs
- Working with children and police check essential
- Proven high-level administration and organisational skills
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and professional standards of behaviour in difficult and sensitive circumstances
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team environment
- Proven time management skills, the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work to deadlines
