About the Role:

JBS Australia Pty Limited is part of a rapidly expanding international business that is a market leader in terms of technology, business efficiency and automation. This role is based at our outstanding offices in Riverview. JBS are customer focused and an innovative meat based food processing company, servicing both domestic and international markets.

This key lead opportunity, is responsible for ensuring successful testing against system software changes with a strong focus on quality, useability and reliability of our products, and to produce end-user product documentation and training material. The successful applicant will lead the QA team with a focus on structure and procedures, to better monitor QA tasks and provide guidance to see them through to completion.

Responsibilities include;

• Work in collaboration with Development leads, devise test objectives, test strategies, test risk assessments and test plans for features under development.
• Research and recommend best practice implementations for test system architecture and software across delivery streams.
• Lead Test Analysts deployed across delivery teams and monitoring quality of work
• Lead Systems Integration testing, Functional testing, Compatibility testing, Sociability testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Regression Testing, UAT and Product Verification Testing.
• Lead and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of test cases, test procedures and test suites.

Criteria for our role includes;

• Demonstrated expertise in building long term, strategic relationships (with Developers, IT Managers and IT CIO) in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in the creation of test scenarios and test cases involving the analysis of functional and non-functional specifications, authoring test scripts, automated test scripts, materials, regression test packs, API's and software components
• Attention to detail and tenacity
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to write in an easily understandable manner
• Understanding of common software failures and faults, and experience working on tasks of large scope and technical complexity.
