  • Located onsite in Parkville, Melbourne

An outstanding opportunity has presented itself to join our client in the Health Service industry, located in Parkville on a 10 month Maternity Leave Contract.

As the HR Advisor, you will work as part of an established and supportive team of HR Advisors and HR Business Partners and will provide advice and guidance to line managers and employees across employment matters including interpretation of the enterprise agreements, industrial awards, policy and procedures, and general HR administrative support.

You will work closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver a range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle and will bring hands-on operations, administration and advisory experience to deliver timely solutions to the organisation. You enjoy working as part of a team and have a flexible and service focused approach.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handle day to day operations and HR related requests.
  • Resolve the allocated stakeholder enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage and coordinate complex internal movements and employment changes.
  • Assist with position description development and recruitment processes, as required.
  • Liaise with payroll, managers and employees to ensure timely processing and resolution of pay related matters.
  • HR project related activities such positive workplace behaviours, graduate recruitment and capability development.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar HR Advisor position from Health Care Services industry, or a highly operational and complex environment.
  • Strong capability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures to the delivery of human resource services.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Sense of urgency to prioritise and assess enquiries effectively.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
