This technical sales role will report directly to the product sales manager and will aim to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction across the WA region. Our client is looking for a specialist to drive their technical wear products division within the mining industry.

Our client are a market leader in the manufacturing and supply of wear parts to the mining industry within Australia. Experiencing significant growth within WA, our client are looking to grow their team with an experienced technical sales candidate.

Description

Key responsibilities within the role include:

• Growing sales numbers within existing accounts in the WA Mining sector
• Developing new relationships with key decision makers on site
• Managing technical sales processes with the ability to get hands on with technical products - wear parts
• Reporting back to the sales manager around sales targets and results
• Occasional regional travel to key clients within the WA region
• The ability to articulate technical solutions to your clients across a range of product categories

Profile

A successful candidate will:

• Be experienced and have a network within the WA Mining sector
• Have a strong background in account management through up selling and servicing existing clients
• Be able to develop new relationships with key decision makers within the Mining sector through strong business development skills
• Have experience in managing an external sales processes from end to end
• Come from a technical background either with and engineering degree or technical trade
