About Your Role
Access Telehealth is Australia’s leading Telehealth provider. Our fast-growing business is designed to connect people and improve health outcomes. We are now expanding our primary care service for nursing homes across Australia.
This role will allow you to combine your extensive practice manager experience and entrepreneurial flair to create the new standard for practices in nursing homes. You will be instrumental in building this business and establishing an accredited practice. This is an opportunity to grow personally and professionally as the business continues to expand. Key Responsibilities
- Work with the operations manager and broader management team to establish this primary care practice ensuring all operational and compliance capabilities are built
- Educate and market the primary care services to corporate clients and individuals encouraging new and existing residents, homes and families to utilise the service
- Manage day-to-day operations of the practice, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collections, cleaning, security and other occupational health and safety matters
- Hiring, training and supervising of all administrative staff; providing guidance when needed for clinical staff
- Build and lead a team of high-performing clinical and non-clinical staff
- Ensure practice compliance with all relevant regulations including developing and implementing workplace policies and procedures
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews
- Improve patient care through evaluating appointment procedures, patient services and patient feedback
- Work with our IT provider to maintain our IT platforms and coach staff on key protocols for data security
- Coordinate positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Essential Skills and Experience
- 5 years’ experience in Practice management
- Experience in nursing homes or aged care
- Sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Track record in growing or marketing a health related business
- Reliable and ability to work in an agile workplace
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and use initiative
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes for patients
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Practice Accreditation
- Diploma or Certificate in Practice Management
- Previous experience in medical software will be highly regarded.
