Cosy Heaters is are currently looking for a part-time Retail Assistant to join the team at their Warragul store.
Cosy Heaters is a family-owned retail business located in Warragul. They pride themselves on offering quality products and a customer-focused sales experience. Their Normanby Street showroom displays some of their gas and wood heater range, as well as their Weber BBQ range. Cosy Heaters have two very distinct sales seasons. From March to September they primarily sell Wood and Gas heaters. In addition, they are also busy servicing fans, doors and supplying spare parts. From October to March there is a focus on Weber BBQs.
As a retail assistant, you will primarily be assisting the store owners in daily operations. In addition to general sales, this will include answering calls, supporting administration tasks, unpacking stock, and overseeing the customer order process.
This role is 20 hours per week and set hours can be flexible to your needs across the week Monday to Friday. It will be required though, that by prior arrangement, you will be available to step up into a store manager position twice a year for two weeks, which will require you to work full-time Monday to Saturday during this time. The seasonal nature of the store means that you will have the opportunity to take some time off and getaway over the summer periods if you wish.
Responsibilities:
- Retail sales
- Answering and making calls
- Support busy team with administrative functions: data entry, filing, ordering stock, processing, and allocating invoices for customer orders
- Unpacking stock deliveries when required
- Overseeing store email inbox
- Overseeing customer service order and delivery logs
- Overseeing customer orders; from the order through to delivery
The role
- Available 20 hours per week
- Availability to step up as Store Manager full-time Monday to Saturday for two weeks annual leave cover twice a year
