Fantastic permanent opportunity available for an experienced Office Manager in Melbourne's South-East.

Your new company
This renowned, industry-leading organization has been operating for over forty years and have a large focus on being experts within the food manufacturing industry.

Due to continuous growth, the company is in search of an experienced, hands-on Office Manager to support their high-performing and dynamic team.

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the office is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis, whilst also supporting the Commercial Manager with various administrative functions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing correspondence via phone and email - both internally and externally
  • Office maintenance including the management of office supplies and equipment
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager with activities such as diary and email management
  • Supporting the HR Manager with tasks such as preparing new employee packs
  • Co-ordinating meetings, staff travel and functions
  • Assisting with the writing of proposals and other external documentation
  • Completing periodic inventory functions and submitting reports when required
  • Assisting with financial administration duties such as processing of invoices
  • Data entry, database management, reporting and filing
  • Supporting with the development of systems, policies and procedures
  • Assisting the management team with various clerical duties as required

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate a high degree of initiative, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. You will be highly organized, with a 'can do' attitude to help drive continuous improvement of processes across the wider business. As a skilled multi-tasker, you will display exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to work well with various stakeholders across the business, whilst also being able to work autonomously.

Previous experience working within the FMCG industry is highly advantageous although not essential.
