1. Allied health discipline qualification leading to professional registration or, where registration does not exist, membership or eligibility for membership of the relevant peak professional body/association

2. Substantial contribution at a senior level to the development of allied health services and/or governance

3. Professional credibility in chosen allied health discipline and/or within an allied health context and extensive successful experience as a professional leader in workforce and education.

4. Extensive knowledge of current health system related issues with particular reference to Allied Health

5. Demonstrated ability to provide high quality strategic and issue specific policy advice and demonstrated successful experience in change management

6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiations skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and refine strategic relationships both within and external to the organisation.

7. Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the capacity to produce comprehensive reports, plans and briefings.

8. Research history and/or data analytics capability
