About the opportunity

The Occupational Therapist is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing direct Occupational Therapy to patient/ clients of the health service. While care is predominantly provided in the inpatient setting, care is also provided in the community where the need for hospitalisation can be avoided or reduced. The service is based at Mudgee Hospital and provides a visiting service to Gulgong and Rylstone Multipurpose Services.

Mudgee Health Service, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District. Opened in May 2020, the $70 million dollar redevelopment of Mudgee Health Service has provided enhanced services, facilities and care to patients in a contemporary, integrated building. Services include emergency, operating theatres, a maternity unit, renal dialysis, oncology, dental clinic, mental health, community health, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
