About the role:

This role will be responsible for the Safe Job Planning Work Pack District processes, by creating Work Packs and reviewing feedback to ensure quality requirements are met in conjunction with the Leeuwin district lead team.

What the role will involve:

  • Ensure all work packs are created with safety as the priority, where no injury is considered acceptable and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety
  • Support Team Leaders to deliver high quality safe job planning and execution
  • Proactively support the introduction and sustainability of change in Safe Job Planning to ensure employees and Team Leaders are engaged and benefits are achieved
  • Use knowledge and understanding of planning and executing high risk activities to incorporate essential elements of safe job planning in work packs created
  • Present to the Regional Team weekly on outcomes, learning and improvements from Safe Job Planning processes
  • Analyse key assurance and governance indicators and identify performance improvement opportunities

Key skills and experience:

  • Certificate III in an Engineering discipline relevant to Water Industry operations (Preferred but not essential)
  • C Class Driver’s License
  • Considerable experience in field work scheduling in a large infrastructure-based organisation
