We are seeking applications from experienced HR Generalists for an advisory position in the People and Culture team. As a Human Resources Advisor, your role would be to provide support to and advise the managers and employees with accurate and timely HR advice.
About the role: Your duties will be, but not limited to,
- Coach and advise managers on HR / ER matters, including grievances, formal complaint management and disciplinary matters
- Provide accurate and timely advice in relation to Award and agreement interpretation and implementation, seeking guidance where required
- Work in consultation with the WH&S team to address WHS matters and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with documentation associated with salary reviews; letters, contracts
- Provide support with all HR administration duties as required, including but not limited to processing contracts and contract variations, probity checks
What are we looking for:
- Recently acquired qualifications in HR/Business Management/Social Sciences
- Verifiable experience in a HR Generalist role
- Good time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced computer skills with demonstrated abilities in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Prior experience in Aged care/Health care and/or Not-for-profit will be appreciated
