Our institutional clients comprise over 1000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders like Harvard, MIT, Yale and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented individuals to join our company.

We are seeking a marketing professional to implement localized marketing and lead generation activities across the Asia Pacific region (excluding mainland China and Korea). The successful Marketing Specialist will create and execute multi channel campaigns, seek out customer testimonials, and identify opportunities for local lead generating activity. The role is based in Australia and reports to the Senior Director of Marketing, based in the USA. 


  • Ideate and execute a comprehensive and multi-channel localized lead generating campaign plan
  • Implement a marketing strategy based on the corresponding academic calendar, including any holidays to take into consideration
  • Responsible for all email marketing within the region - disseminating campaigns including new product announcements, onboarding emails, trial support, etc.
  • Testimonial outreach to scientists, faculty and librarian audiences
  • Look out for topics of discussion within the covered region in which we can get involved either over social media, via blogs, and more
  • Seek out opportunities to advertise JoVE on relevant regional websites/blogs
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on outreach for the covered region, including paid and targeted campaigns on all social channels 
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager on press releases/blogs/case studies
  • Help organize regional conferences (where applicable and travel permitting) throughout the covered region 
  • Support key sales initiatives in various APAC regions and implement bespoke marketing campaigns based on specific regional needs
  • Cultivate relationships with key personnel in the APAC team


  • 2-3+ years of experience in Marketing
  • Experience working with inbound Marketing Software (Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot) or marketing email provider (Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc)
  • Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) is preferred
  • Marketing/internship experience or working knowledge within Publishing, Ed-tech or science is preferred
  • A desire to be a part of a team developing outreach campaigns resulting in new or expanded business is required 
  • Experience liaising with Sales and Service teams is preferred 
  • Experience with demand generation, lead nurturing, and/or ABM(Account-Based Marketing) is ideal but not required
