  • Located in Queanbeyan, NSW
  • Salary from $85,488 pa plus superannuation (Clerk Grade 5/6)

About the role

The Assistant Internal Communications Advisor helps deliver internal communications strategies and activities to support internal clients’ activities and projects, and build the Department’s culture and communicate its direction, policies, strategies, plans and programs to employees.

You will help manage our internal communication channels; and create engaging content (written and digital) for delivery across our internal communications channels. You’ll have experience developing copy and infographics, videography and video-editing for multi-content channels.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, highly skilled team that works collaboratively to implement long and short-term communication solutions for the Department.


About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of three years’ experience implementing communications plans and developing written and visual communications content.

You will have strong written and verbal communications skills and experience using website management systems, graphic design tools and other user interaction design tools to support the delivery of engaging content to engage with staff across Regional NSW.

You also have great time and project management skills and can balance the needs of multiple clients and projects at the same time.

Tertiary qualifications in communications or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience will be highly regarded.
