SeaLink NT is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Reservations & Admin Assistant for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Operating in Darwin, SeaLink is part of the SeaLink Travel Group and is proudly Australian owned and operated. With 4 vessels and over 25 staff SeaLink NT is a fast-growing business and a prominent ferry and tour operator in the region, operating to Mandorah, the Tiwi Islands as well as in the Groote Eylandt region.

About You

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • High level of organization skills
  • Have the ability to be a team player
  • Is willing to take directions but eager to ask questions
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite – excel, word, and outlook
  • Display an excellent phone manner and customer service skills
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Driver’s license and reliable transport essential

These attributes will be complimented by experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
  • Experience in tourism reservations

About the role

We are looking for a successful candidate to commence as soon as possible. You will be the first point of contact for our customers at our booking office in Cullen Bay. Providing a high level of customer service, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to all bookings and inquiries within agreed timeframes
  • Coordinating ticket sales, vessel floats, stock ordering, uniform ordering
  • Account processing
  • Administration relating to vessel and tour operations
  • Effective communication and follow up where required to other SeaLink departments and businesses
  • Administrative support to the General Manager
