Our client is a leading private markets investment and advisory business with a global presence and USD 7.2 billion under management and advice.

The fund invests in forest assets globally on behalf of institutional investors. Established in the early 2000’s, the group provides timberland exposure through pooled investment vehicles and co-investment opportunities across the Americas and Oceania.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring financial metrics against plan for the global timberland investment portfolio
  • Help identify risks and performance opportunities across the portfolio, and contribute to manager engagement, meetings and regional asset visits
  • Utilising your knowledge of the portfolio to contribute to the development of client-ready quarterly reports, client presentations, ad hoc client requests and marketing material
  • Maintaining market intelligence databases for Asia-Pacific and contribute to developing a house view on this region
  • Contribute to sector research, including peer grouping and benchmarking, and assist in preparing whitepapers
  • Maintaining and updating portfolio models informed by appraisal trends, market intelligence, key fund terms, and fund manager interactions
  • Contribute to portfolio management tools and maintaining a linkage between investment and fund operations teams


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, natural sciences or related discipline
  • Three to four years’ experience in an asset management, banking, accounting, consulting or industry role
  • Ability to produce client ready written communications and work to multiple deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
