We are designers and providers of Specialist Disability Accommodation to individuals who possess an approved NDIS plan. Our mission is to ensure every person with a disability is housed in appropriate accommodation.

We believe that having a functional and appealing home is fundamental to long term mental and physical health and maximises participation in the community and personal independence.

The Role

We are currently looking for a graduate accountant to assist with providing financial support and working alongside the finance team.

Our senior team consists of our Directors (A former teacher, and a solicitor) and Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of bank accounts (general business accounts, real estate agent trust accounts, solicitor trust accounts).
  • Reconciliation of inter-entity transactions.
  • Preparation of Busines Activity Statements.
  • Submission of periodic Jobkeeper and Jobmaker claims.
  • Assist with preparation of financial reporting & provide the information to management by researching and analysing accounting data.
  • Maintenance of the receivables and payables functions.
  • Preparation of company payroll.
  • Assistance with the maintenance of the corporate registers and other company secretarial matters.
  • Other accounting administration duties as required.

Selection Criteria:

  • Recently completed a university degree with a major in accounting (we may consider candidates in their final semester of university).
  • Be currently completing or willing to complete professional studies (CAANZ, CPA or IPA).
  • Sound understanding of accounting and taxation concepts.
  • Experience in Xero.
  • Willing to actively support in the delivery of quality client service.
  • One (1+) years accounting experience.
  • The right to work in Australia.
