Organisation and Methods Analyst

MBI Australia is searching for a rather unusual person – one who:

  • Has Experience and Knowledge in the building industry (Commercial and/ or Domestic),
  • Has A back ground in organisational analytics,
  • Has A critical thinking mindset and a creative output,
  • Is looking to start immediately. This role is based in Sydney with Regular travel Australia wide.

Role Responsibilities

  • Aid MBI to achieve greater efficiency, solve organisational problems, and study our structures, methods, systems and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving increased business viability and outcomes through the efficient use of organisations' resources
  • Work directly with company directors to help assess and illustrate the financial implications of business adjustments and offer creative and practical solutions.
  • Discuss and observe current systems with staff at all levels of organisation
  • Direct management towards more greater organisational efficiency, developing solutions where problems arise.
  • Undertake and review work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures.
  • Record and analyze current work flow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions
  • Prepare and recommending proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve organisational problems
  • Become part of a dynamic and energetic company as we expand into exciting new territory
  • Be self driven and motivated. Be willing to travel regularly

To be considered your CV must convey how you possess:

  • Strong operational experience within the building industry,
  • Knowledge of organisational improvement methods as they relate to business diversification,
  • Experience growing organisational efficiency within the industry,
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills 
  • Experience in office administration within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,) – essential,
  • A positive & mature mental attitude,
  • Willingness & ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Qualification/s:

Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and statistics or similar
