DevOps Engineer
Sydney

Join our Technology team as a talented DevOps Engineer where you will get to integrate applications and build automated solutions using cloud-based technologies.

You will be working with a group of multi-talented and diverse teams in a fast-paced, challenging DevOps environment. You will get an opportunity to learn and apply the latest technologies including Bigdata, AWS, Bamboo/Jenkins, Docker and Microservices to deliver and maintain highly scalable and robust services. To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivated team player and excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of stakeholders.

We anticipate to excel in this role you will ideally have:

  • 5-7 years of hands on experience in developing integration solutions using web services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC), event driven or queue-based integrations, and service orchestrations using Ctl-M
  • experience in security configurations (OAuth) establishing secured connection between SaaS and on prem applications
  • strong foundation on programming languages on one of the following Java/Scala/ C++/ Python
  • understanding on XML and JSON
  • able to generate queries on Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Impala or Hive
  • experience in software testing and quality assurance, diagnostic and troubleshooting.

  • experience in working with a cross-functional delivery team of product owners, business analysts, software & automation engineers
  • comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments, and familiar with public cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS).
