Exceptional part-time opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant/Secretary to join a highly regarded and well-established Law Firm recognised for fostering a friendly, supportive and cohesive team culture. 

This is a permanent part-time role offering you the flexibility to work 3 full days a week, or 5 days a week 10.00am to 3.00pm. 

About the role...

This varied and interesting role will appeal to a self-motivated and highly organised individual who thrives on being busy and using their initiative on a daily basis. 

Assisting a Partner, a Special Counsel and a Lawyer, all described as "great to work with", you'll enjoy being involved in a wide range of diverse and complex Commercial Property law matters.
 
Some of your key duties will include, but not limited to;
 
• typing and formatting of large documents, including track changes
• conducting Title, Property and Company searches
• completing conveyancing processes in PEXA and Duties Online systems
• diary management, arranging meetings and liaising with clients
• billing and client reports
• opening & closing files and other administrative tasks as required 
 
Skills & experience we'd love...

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary within a Property Practice in a Law Firm together with;
 
• excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• knowledge of running residential conveyancing files (a definite advantage)
• well developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
• advanced skills in MS Word with experience in creating and amending agreements
• a positive, professional and pro-active work attitude
