This local multi-disciplinary consultancy is known for creating Victoria’s most sustainable, livable and vibrant new communities. Their ambitious team delivers projects of all sizes and complexities for residential, commercial and industrial developments and they work with developers, architects, high wealth investors and the like. 

The Opportunity
You will work with other Town Planners, Landscape Architects and Urban Designers on a range of different projects, reporting directly into a Planning Director. 

More generally, you will:

  • Project Manage the Development Application process on behalf of your clients. 
  • Liaise with relevant Local Authorities to help expediate the process.
  • Prepare fee proposals and invoices with the support from the Directors.
  • Manage client expectations 
  • Keep track of relevant legislative changes and amendments to ensure you are providing up to date advice to their stakeholders.

The successful candidate

  • You will have 4 or more years’ experience preferably within the local Victorian market.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and lodging planning applications for various developments within metropolitan Melbourne and greater areas.
  • Experienced project managing various development applications at one time. 
  • Ability to write high quality and concise reports and submissions, with attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, plus the flexibility to adapt your style for different stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, "can do" attitude with the ability to use your initiative to solve problems and assist your colleagues.

We are looking for the best but be assured that a salary package will reflect this - we expect in a range of $90k - $105k plus super.
