About our client
Our client is an international organisation and leading player water technology solutions. They are currently seeking an Electrical Service Technician with pump experience.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for

  • Carry out service and emergency work on various products and associated equipment in workshop and at customers’ premises.
  • Commission and upgrade Wedeco U.V, new pump station installs, pumps testing in house, industrial type electrical work as needed and programming on FLC controllers via laptop at customers premises.
  • Strip, assess and rebuild Flygt pumps in workshop when necessary.
  • Prepare Service Reports using reports as needed.
  • Clean, strip, overhaul customer Wedeco U.V systems and associated equipment and products and provide quotations to customers for cost of repairs prior to completion of repairs.
  • Provide feedback to the customer on conclusion of each service visit as to the work completed, validity and effectiveness of their system.
  • Inspect and test products prior to dispatch to customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate advice and support to staff and customers on service, workshop and product related issues both orally and in writing.
  • Actively participate in audits for QA and EHS systems and practices.

What you will bring to the role

  • Trade qualified with 5+ years' experience as an Electrician in the industrial sector
  • Experience within a pump or engineering environment (highly desirable)
  • Full NSW Drivers licence is essential to travel to off-site works at customer premises.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Great communicator with solid experience working in a team
  • Forklift licence (highly desirable)
  • Confined entry spaces permit & working at heights ticket
