Knox Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established surgical nursing teams.

We have a number of exciting opportunities within our suite of surgical specialities, which include:

• Cardio Thoracic Surgery
• Orthopaedic Surgery
• Neuro Surgery
• Plastic Surgery
• ENT Surgery
• Vascular Surgery

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and PCA's to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is the largest private hospital in the eastern and south eastern corridor of Melbourne. A fully accredited tertiary facility with over 250 beds, providing 24 hour Emergency Services, extensive Surgical Specialities, 10 bed ICU, 10 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services.

 Essential Criteria:

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Working with Children check (if relevant)
• Experience in an acute surgical setting
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Basic computer skills

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2016 - 2020" (salaries range between $31.29and $44.20
