JOB DESCRIPTION
Working in one of WA's largest private Chemical Manufacturing Companies, the successful applications profile for this roll must have:
Science Degree mandatory in Chemistry;
Knowledge in organic and inorganic chemicals;
3 years minimum chemical manufacturing experience in GMP accredited Company;
Strong english & grammar;
Good self-management & people skills;
Excellent Microsoft computer skills - word, excel and other programs;
Be proactive and have strong multitasking skills;
Demonstrated factory or laboratory experience; and
Strong work history.
The Employee's Responsibilities and Duties are as follows: (not in priority order)
To implement and complete projects and works as directed by the Employer, from time to time;
Reporting to and being accountable to persons nominated from time to time by the Employer;
Maintain and improve production control & systems;
Assist Head Chemist with production paperwork;
Assist Technical Manager with GMP and ISO;
Assist with the preparation of invoicing directions;
Assist Chemist with formulation, perform laboratory trials & pilot batches;
Assist with and help manage and prepare SDS's, Technical Data Sheets (TDS) & Product Labels;
Help maintain existing quality and safety accreditation and systems;
Actively assist Head Chemist with ISO, GMP DG & customer Audits; and
Assist with Batch Quality Testing, Adjustments, Logging and stability.
Other:
On-site training provided but previous experience is essential.
Must be willing to sign Non Compete and Secrecy Agreement.
Must be looking for long term employment with a minimum commitment of 2 years.
The working hours:
38 hours per week / 7.6 hours per day / Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Breaks - morning tea, lunch and afternoon break = total max 56 minutes per day.
