The Credit Card team is responsible for improving market share and the profitability of the Credit Card portfolio as well as the end-to-end customer service experience for the 2.9 million credit card customers.

The purpose of this role is to lead and contribute to the achievement of the portfolio management team objectives through initiatives specific to portfolio management, life cycle management, operations and optimization including SurePay to drive customer engagement, usage and profitable market share growth.

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of credit card portfolio in life operations and portfolio optimisation of such things like SurePay Instalment Plan functionality, Credit Limit Increases, Migrations and policy and processes which will drive greater customer engagement and business outcomes through improved customer experience and processes.

In any given week you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio products, processed and policies and its drivers to deliver the improved outcomes for our customers and business
  • Develop strategies to grow and optimise SurePay Instalment Plan functionality and implement those strategies working with key stakeholders
  • Develop strategies to optimise the operations and processes for Credit Limit Increase, Migrations and SurePay applications
  • Portfolio reporting and insights including weekly portfolio performance reporting
  • Management, maintenance and optimisation of the Migration Process, Credit Limit Increase Process and SurePay set up and operations
  • Plan, co-ordinate and deliver portfolio and product development initiatives to drive portfolio growth
  • Manage, monitor and analyse consumer, competitor, environment and industry trends
  • Work with the key stakholders to optimise policy, process and SOPs for portfolio responsibilities and where required deliver change
  • Leverage your strong stakeholder management to form strong relationships to deliver your initiatives effectively
  • Point of contact for all relevant stakeholders relating to Cards portfolio management activity including complaints and frontline requests etc.
  • Provide channel support for all activities relating to portfolio management
  • Develop strategies and identify opportunities to further optimise Credit Limit Increases, upgrades, spend, utilisation, balances, revolve and attrition.
  • Proactively manage risk actions relating to portfolio to ensure obligations are adhered to
  • Support the end-to-end risk and control environment for the business to ensure it operates within risk appetite
  • Proactively identify, manage and close issues, incidents and lead risk buy-down initiatives
  • Support the incident management team with portfolio incidents and process expertise
