We are seeking an energized swimming coach to lead our junior program. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Head Coach, the newly appointed swimming coach, will work closely with the Head Coach to implement a junior program that will create the foundation for continued swimming development, whilst maintaining a fun and social club environment. The successful candidate must be a committed and driven individual who can commit to the programs desired direction. Must possesses a high degree of emotional maturity, able to motivate children with varied social, emotional and physical attributes, and foster strong communication with parents and the swimmers.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Junior Program including planning and assisting of seasonal competition schedules.
- Assist with developing and implementing applicable recruitment and client retention strategies.
- 18-20 hours of on deck coaching and associated administrative tasks per week plus participation in staff and club meetings, camps/trips/workshops and swim meets as required.
- Coordinate and lead Junior Development (12/u) programs and Youth (13/over) squad sessions
- Develop and implement training templates, assist with scheduling and additional programs in conjunction with the Head Coach and Operations Manager.
- Set direction and goals for squad swimmers and create plans to achieve the goals that align with the swimming Club and Head Coach
- Assist the Head Coach with the higher performing swimmers.
- Assist the Swim School Management and Operations Manager with the Bridging Squad programs (LTS to Squad) implementation and coaches to enhance progression into the Junior Developing and competitive squads.
- Assist with the co-ordination and running of club activities, club nights and holiday programs.
- Foster strong communication within swimming club programs, including parents, athletes and junior coaches and staff.
- Assist in the implementation of team information through communicative avenues.
- Perform and maintain the required administrative tasks to maintain program management and recording.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Junior level coaching experience or above.
- Swimming Australia Development Coach Certified or above.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Current Working With Children Check Accreditation.
- Club swimming experience as either a swimmer or coach.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Energetic, dynamic, driven and positive individual.
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills desired.
- Enthusiasm for continuing coaching education and progression.
- Demonstrated leadership and public relations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong communication skills and positive interpersonal skills (relate well to children and adults) when interacting with co-workers, supervisors, the general public, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build and maintain genuine relationships with swimmers, parents, and colleagues within the sport.

Compensation:
- Negotiable based of age, experience and industry knowledge.
