The role is key to our Assetlink business operations and provides support to the Head Office team - it will be your role to ensure a positive and professional experience for all visitors, clients, senior executives and team members and the office is maintained in a professional and orderly manner.

Your advanced Microsoft Office and organisational skills are required for the smooth running of the office.

A main focus and important part of the role is the responsibility for being the face of Assetlink. Key to this role is your capability in the area of hospitality and serving food to for the head office team. You will also be responsible for ordering food from a variety of catering providers and arranging the food for service and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchens.

What you will be doing each day:

  • Greet and acknowledge visitors, customers and clients in a friendly and professional
  • Provide hospitality / serving of light lunches for clients, executives and staff meetings
  • Manage front desk reception, meet and greet visitors, offer refreshment on arrival
  • Book and set up meeting rooms ensuring all meeting rooms are available, presentable and equipment is in working order
  • Liaise with trades people and monitor the cleaning and maintenance of the office
  • Maintain out – going and incoming mail, restock photocopiers
  • Ordering of all office supplies and stationery within a budget
  • General administrative duties and adhoc tasks such as arranging couriers and ordering taxis
  • Hours will be 8:30am to 5 pm Monday to Friday

You will have

To be successful in this role, you will have previously worked in a role providing hospitality in a corporate setting, as well as managing front desk reception.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing hospitality and catering services in a corporate setting, - essential
  • Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role – ideal
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High level of communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholders from executives to operational team members
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information appropriately, maintaining a high standard of professionalism
  • Excellent attention to detail and advanced organisation skills, with a flexible approach to work
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn industry specific systems and processes
  • A self-starter who has the capacity to maintain a busy workload and understands how to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Ability to build rapport with an open and helpful persona

Qualifications and experience

Advanced Excel or Microsoft Office Suite and a commitment to providing high level of customer service is highly desirable.

You ideally will follow work health and safety practices.
