Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)


The Apprenticeship Field Officer will assist new apprentices, trainees and their employers to enrol and partner with TasTAFE. The occupant will visit employers and apprentices on site to work through the necessary enrolment paperwork and will provide ongoing administrative support throughout the enrolment process. The occupant will be responsible for identifying apprentices and trainees with upcoming completion dates and will work closely with delivery teams, employers and students to finalise their partnership with TasTAFE. Some intrastate travel may be required.

Essential Requirements
Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment)

The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

Desirable Requirements
Experience in a post-year 10 educational environment.
