Period of employment / Hours:
Fixed term full-time day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation) commencing ASAP until 31 December 2021 - Multiple vacancies.
- Please note: Other fixed term full-time and part-time vacancies, that may arise in the near future may also be filled from this selection process.

Duties:
Primary Purpose / Focus :
- proactively reaching out to guests to provide information;
- responding to guests’ enquiries; and
- facilitating support for guests who have health or other needs.
Selection criteria includes:
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer service focus in an environment that is subject to ambiguity and change, including the ability to deal with conflict and challenging behaviours.
- Demonstrated ability to apply good judgement and respond appropriately to client circumstances and requirements, including a capability to triage enquiries.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and prioritise to complete tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable Requirements:

Current Driver’s Licence

Strong background in customer service and knowledge of public service ethics and accountabilities. Demonstrated resilience in high pressure situations.
Essential Requirements:
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
- 1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
- a) crimes of violence
- b) sex related offences
- c) serious drug offences
- d) crimes involving dishonesty
- e) serious traffic offences (If Driver's License is an Essential Requirement )
- 2. Identification check
- 3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
