About the Role:

Reporting to Anglicare At Home’s Care Consultant Manager, the Care Consultant (Sales – Aged Care) will manage client intake and provide excellent customer service to all potential new clients and their families. You will ensure referrals are responded to professionally and promptly, and clients are expertly assessed for home care services. You will support the growth of Anglicare At Home by showcasing our point of difference and enhancing opportunities. This is to be undertaken in line with the organisation’s Christian vision, mission, values and strategy, and quality and compliance requirements.

In this role, you will:
  • meet with potential clients to inform them of Anglicare’s service offering
  • provide new clients a comprehensive assessment of needs and goals to develop tailored care plans and budgets that support each client in their home and out in the community. This is done in consultation with the client and their family.
  • ensure a smooth transition from sales intake to the start of care, establishing trust and credibility with potential new clients and their families
  • ensure a comprehensive understanding of Anglicare’s strategy, aged care standards and relevant policies and procedures
  • ensure that all client documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

This is a permanent fulltime position servicing Wollongong and the Illawarra region.

What we need from you:
  • Tertiary qualification or certified training relevant to Aged Care, Community Services, Social Science, Nursing or Allied Health.
  • Clinical / Allied Health background (desirable)
  • Experience in undertaking comprehensive assessments
  • Previous experience in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience in an Intake position and/or sales experience in aged care or non-profit environment (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a budget effectively
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of technology and systems.
