The Role

We have a full-time position available for a claims consultant to join our Motor Claims department in Adelaide, CBD. However, this role is currently working from home due to COVID-19. Joining an existing team, you will be responsible for the management of claims post lodgement until the closure stage of the Motor Claims process. This role will see you managing claims in a professional and proactive manner whilst ensuring that legislative and policy requirements are followed. You will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders where required and uphold the IAG values.

Start date 19.04.2021 830am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday Full time Permanent Role.

Training Virtual training will begin from the start date. Starting from 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. We do require your commitment to the full-time training.

  • Applying your expertise and ensuring alignment with policy and procedures
  • You will deliver a high standard of claims management that results in effective outcomes
  • Working autonomously and in a high achieving team environment
  • Develop and maintain a consistent approach in your decision making, ensuring a fair and professional outcome for our stakeholders.

Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrate strong technical experience in the insurance claims industry is advantageous
  • A solid understanding and passion for the insurance industry
  • Efficient problem-solving skills
  • Confident in using multiple different systems and platforms simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team
  • Highly motivated, reliable and demonstrated decision-making skills
