Green Light are looking for an O365 Migration Consultant to join our Sydney delivery team. In this role the O365 Migration Consultant will be working in a complex Office 365, MS Teams, exchange databases and provide documentation support to a managed services industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive planning and design of ongoing integration requirements of M365 with other applications/platforms within the organisation.
- Ad-hoc development and implementation of M365-based technical solutions utilising native functionality and across other systems like D365.
- Preparing Office 365 Hybrid Messaging Design documents.
- Development of O365 Exchange migration plans.
- Windows 10 SOE (including a deployment / migration solution).
- Work with team members to identify and solve complex problems and/or provide technical leadership and guidance in complex problem solving.
- Recommend service improvements based on a detailed technical understanding of the existing infrastructure configurations, client needs and emerging technologies.
- Participate in or lead the development of technical skills, coaching, developing and coordinating the activities of a team of IT specialists.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated technical expertise in supporting, managing and maintaining environments such as Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams and Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of server hardware and software technology, systems analysis and troubleshooting, and research techniques.
- Working knowledge of software and hardware design and recovery techniques necessary to keep servers operational and accessible.
- Strong knowledge of the Windows 2012/2008 Active Directory domain services and related Group Policy (GPO), login scripts, domain permissions, Windows print services and other management/administration components.
- Knowledge of MS Exchange administration, Office 365 and related messaging services.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing the documents.
- Detailed understanding of O365 & D365 concepts, methodologies and development tool-set.
- Able to execute and handle complex M365 workflows and functional requirements.
- Understanding of Enterprise mobility and Security EMS.
- Overall understanding of general Active Directory administration functions - User Admin.
- Ability to implement large scale ICT solutions together with a proven track record in identifying, designing and implement new ICT solutions that meets business needs of clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to undertake advanced troubleshooting to resolve problems or to propose solutions to complex problems.
- Proven ability to provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other staff within the team.
- Relevant Industry certifications (e.g. MCSA: Office 365, MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 - Configuration will be highly regarded).
