What you'll be doing

As a District role the position is responsible for administering and managing the TRIM Document Management system for the Far West Local Health District and managing and overseeing Document Management processes for the District in line with the requirements of the State Records Act 1998. The position will monitor data quality and provided education, training and support to staff on the TRIM system and corporate record keeping requirements. You will manage and oversee the implementation and integration of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) TRIM within the Far West Local Health District.

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant qualification in Records Management or relevant practical experience in a Records Management role, demonstrating knowledge and experience of the statutory and legislative requirements of the State Records Act (NSW) 1998 and related Standards.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Records Management using the TRIM application including file creation, retention, security and classification schemes and establishing user profiles and security access.
  3. Clear understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality of both Corporate and Health Records.
  4. Well-developed organisational skills for working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with the capacity to prioritise competing demands and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated capacity to assist with the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures, standards and practices.
  6. Sound analytical problem solving skills and forward thinking approach including the ability to analyse and interpret information, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focussed solutions.
  7. Proven ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and ability to train, develop skills and motivate staff in the utilisation of a records management system and promote the benefits of an effective records management system.
  8. Current NSW Driver’s Licence with the ability to travel.
