Registered Nurse
Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital


We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join us on a permanent basis who is interested in advancing their nursing skills in Rehabilitation nursing. Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient care for 16 patients as well as outpatient and Hydrotherapy services. Rehabilitation services as a "link “between acute medical services and community services and takes a holistic approach towards reintegration of the patient back into the community. 

About the role:
You will work with patients and their families to create individual rehabilitation goals and assist patients to regain their health and independence to the best of their ability. Orientation will be combined with Manning Hospital's orientation and will be a duration of 1-4 days where applicable. In the event of low capacity, candidates will be required to work across the Lower Mid North Coast Sector, in particular Manning Hospital which is only a 15 minute drive from Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital.

About you:
The successful applicant will have recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute/subacute hospital and would be available to work a seven day rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays). You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive working relationships with patients, carers, co-workers and other medical professionals. You will be proactive and attentive in nature and have a strong work ethic with a genuine interest in rehabilitation services.
