Scope of the role

The Grounds Maintenance Team Member is responsible for performing work in the maintenance, care, and modification of our client’s ground and landscapes which includes the operation of groundskeeping equipment and machines, and the use of small hand and power tools or equipment in planting, cultivating and trimming grounds and landscapes.

The Ground Maintenance Team member also performs maintenance on groundskeeping equipment and tools and makes minor repairs (within demonstrated capability) as directed.

  • Promote working in a team environment with work colleagues.
  • Issued work uniform ad PPE worn 100% of the time.
Background and Experience
  • Australian Citizen
  • National police check
  • Valid and current drivers’ licence
  • White card (desired but not essential)
  • 2+ years’ groundskeeping experience
Workplace Safety & Health, employee requirements
  • Complying with workplace procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
  • Participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
  • Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, injuries, property damage and mishaps at the workplace to the supervisor.
  • Correct utilisation of appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Troubleshoot, identify issues and provide solutions.
