Junior Software Deployment / Database Administrator
A leading provider of identity issuance software is looking for a junior Software Deployment / database administrator to join our growing team.
In this newly created role you will work closely with the software development team and project team to install, deploy, test and troubleshoot new software installations.

About the role and what you will do:
- Deliver a high-level of customer satisfaction with attention to detail installing software packages, writing user manuals for customers as needed and refining installation procedures to increase efficiency.
- Install, configure and support databases and web based software.
- Software implementation and upgrades, including testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Software customisation and configuration.
- Software documentation and process documentation.
- Assist with software control and update procedures.
- Fault isolation and troubleshooting.
- Problem solving of a highly complex and technical nature.
- Design and deliver training material and documentation
The position has a high degree of independence and autonomy. The person must think laterally and exercise expert technical problem solving skills to resolve problems of a highly complex and technical nature.
Core requirements & Experience:
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in computing or other relevant discipline or extensive relevant experience.
- Experience in SQL server database administration
- Knowledge of relational database structures.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing high quality customer service.
Other experience that would be beneficial:
- Amazon Web Services / AWS Cloud hosting services EC2 / S3
- Experience with AWS DynamoDB
- Experience in providing first to third level support for end users in the effective and efficient use of software applications.
- Ability to assist customers with problem solving and to provide support to customers of varying skill levels.
- Demonstrated evidence in designing and delivering relevant training documentations / user guides etc.
- Experience in Photoshop / image editing.
The office is located at St Leonards, 700m walk from the train station.

Salary: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
