Job Description

Grand Metal Pty Ltd. (GM) is a leading commercial and architectural building material whole seller based in Auburn, focusing on providing quality building material products and services to our consumers.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic customer services officer to join our customer services team.

You will work closely with the GM’s Operation team to ensure the highest level of services amongst existing and new customers.

Key responsibility:

This is an inbound role and incorporates quoting, entering orders, liaising with the warehouse and sales team, and providing delivery schedules to customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Interpersonal skills and a natural aptitude for customer service and sales

– Proficient in both verbal and written English

– Exceptional phone and computer skills

– The ability to develop and build relationships

– Strong customer focus

– Excellent problem-solving skills

– The ability to work under pressure. A great can-do attitude is a must!

– Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only (Inc. New Zealand Citizens)

– Previous customer service experience would be highly considered

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: from $42,000.00 + super

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: From $42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Record and modify customer information within the database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
