The Opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity available for a Full-Time Inflight Planning & Records Manager to join our team in Sydney.


The role is responsible for ensuring that all airline documentation is delivered within the specified requirements and timeframes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, controlling and maintaining check sheets for kitchen and operational use
  • Ensuring all inflight planning documents are in accordance with internal menu specifications and airline galley load plans/diagrams
  • Accurately maintaining a version log for all inflight planning documents on company servers
  • Ensuring all inflight planning documentation accurately reflects airline and company requirements and is available on time to all respective stakeholders
  • Navigating and retrieving information from different airline information systems/portals (e.g. Emirates Cat360 and Cathay Pacific Catering Planner in conjunction with the Customer Service Manager
  • Performing on- site kitchen and on-board aircraft reviews to ensure documentation is up to date
  • Anticipate potential problems and take appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the service and proposing these to the relevant stakeholder
  • Create and maintain a strong culture where all internal stakeholders are provided with relevant and accurate information, delivered in a timely manner via a user-friendly method
  • Provide analytical support for internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure all staff are compliant with induction and job training and information relevant to current Food Standards, Safety and Business Principles
  • Workplace Health and Safety - responsible for reporting and compliance obligations of the business including identification of hazards, effective mitigation, monitoring and administration.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hold a current ASIC card or have the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS office skills with a focus on Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
