The Role:

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is available for a driven and motivated Supervisor to join our Major Loss Insurance Builders team.

You will utilise your exceptional time management and organisational skills to oversee large loss insurance projects from commencement to completion. This includes report writing, engaging and driving contractors, liaising with clients and insurance companies and ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between clients & insurance companies
  • Take ownership of major loss insurance jobs from commencement to completion
  • Achieve quality outcomes & deliver projects ahead of schedule & on budget
  • Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
  • Engage, coordinate & manage trades
  • Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
  • Coordinate access to properties with insured parties
  • Attend & contribute to meetings
  • Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
  • Dispute/issue resolution
  • Ensure all inspection, certificate of final inspection & other relevant documentation is signed off
  • Ensure purchase order processes are followed
  • Review monthly job cost reports to ensure supervisors are reporting accurately
  • Invoicing
  • Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed at all times
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Carpentry qualification & experience
  • Background supervising standard & complex new build & rebuild projects
  • Insurance building, commercial construction or shop fitting experience
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple & competing priorities
  • Exceptional attentional to detail & organisational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Can do attitude & a drive to succeed
  • Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates/trades
  • Current motor vehicle licence
  • Immediate start
