Our client is a leading e-commerce focused last mile express organisation operating unique business modelling to ensure unrivalled upstream and downstream logistics excellence and end user customer experience.

If you are an experienced CEP / Courier / Express / Parcel fleet operations specialist with a desire to join an outstanding organisation changing the face of last mile in Australia, we want to hear from you - NOW.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will be a natural problem solver with exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence (EQ). You will coordinate a national fleet operations network, enjoy a dynamic environment and be a natural multi-tasker.

You will also be involved in planning.strategic and transformational projects and driving the ongoing development and profitability of the business through high quality analysis, reporting and business case development. In doing so you will act as the key operational lead strategic partner and advisor to the senior leadership of the business.

The Job

  • Day to day operations responsibility - including warehouse and distribution
  • Deliver operational outcomes aligned to service level agreements
  • Work with contactor drivers and customers nationally to exceed expectations and ensure national efficiencies are implemented
  • Focus on conntractor driver retention/satisfaction, process efficiency and service quality
  • Focus on contractor driver growth, retention and DIFOT
  • Work closely with our International Support team whilst owning outbound communications with the driver fleet to meet SLA's
  • Seek to improve and optimise multiple drop delivery logic and feedback relevant information to the wider business
  • Implement new projects that have a positive effect on support operations: recapitulating existing support modalities and implementing new ones
  • Design actionable process improvements that help to optimise the fleet capacity and on time delivery performance by analysing data and uncovering valuable insights
  • Ensure contractor drivers strive to achieve delivery guarantees and abide by all relevant legislation and any sensitive customer service requirements

Your Background

  • 3+ year e-comm
  • 5+ years Transpprt Ops
  • Relevant Degree
  • Experience with processes development, program/project management;
  • Software knowledge of, Routiffic, Mapbox or similar;
  • Experience working in a support organisation or teams that have a reputation for incredible customer outcomes;
  • Data analytics with MS Excel skills; and
  • Extraordinary verbal communication skills, resilience and a CAN DO attitude
