Who are we?

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is a unique cross-border public health service and the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. We employ more than 2,500 dedicated staff who support an outer catchment population of 250,000 throughout North-East VIC and Southern NSW. Our Emergency department

We have two Emergency departments on either side of the border that receive in excess of 65,000 annual presentations. Our region is growing and it is expected that this will place increased demand on our existing emergency services. To meet the future needs of our community we are in the process of developing a state of the art Emergency facility scheduled for operation in 2022.

We have opportunities in our Emergency department right now for experienced Registered Nurses. 

Who are you?

  • You are committed to providing the highest quality patient centred care
  • You are compassionate, approachable and are able build rapport with patients and staff
  • You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • You have at least 2 years’ acute experience, preferably in an emergency setting
  • You hold a Post Graduate in Emergency or Critical Care (desirable, but not essential)
