JOB DESCRIPTION
Lendlease Building is looking for an EHS Coordinator to join the team working on the Caboolture Hospital redevelopment project.
The Project
Lendlease has been appointed as Managing Contractor to deliver the $394.6 million major Caboolture Hospital redevelopment project.
The project will deliver 130 more beds and expanded services with a mixture of new buildings and refurbished existing facilities, including a new Clinical Services Building and multi-storey car park. The upgrade includes an enhanced special care nursery and medical day stay unit, medical records facility, pharmacy and pathology, as well as a new main entry, café and visitor lounge.
Role
In this role, it will be your responsibility to provide specialist EHS knowledge to support the Construction Management team(s) and Site Manager in driving superior environment and health and safety performance onsite. You will achieve this by identifying issues and trends, monitoring compliance with Lendlease EHS protocols and implementing safety initiatives to improve our safety performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating within a large building (preferably) or civil construction environment in a similar EHS role and hold all necessary certifications and qualifications
- People and performance management of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to ensure Health & Safety standards are held to the highest degree
- Ensuring the project follows the company EHS plan as well as monitoring the implementation of environmental and sustainable requirements
- Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally
