About The Role

Based at our Melbourne Head Office, the Brand Manager – Acute Wound Care ANZ is a newly created position within our organisation. Reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager ANZ and working closely with various other business functions, the Brand Manager – Acute Wound Care is primarily responsible for driving to achieve locally set goals for products in the portfolio, by contributing to our business strategy and implementing the marketing plan in close collaboration with the wider Marketing Team and in particular the Marketing and Sales Channel Management team.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the development and maintenance of customer; channel-specific services and therapy concepts. Interactions: in cooperation with the Channel Marketing Manager and Key Account Managers/Sales Managers
  • Support Tender and Sales Force
  • Define, manage and/or coordinate short to medium term brand/product related GTM and marketing strategy/ plans for the assigned product/brand segment in (close) coordination with the Channel Marketing Manager/ Regional Marketing Manager ANZ
  • Implement and activate global launches and relaunches of the assigned brands/product segments in the local market. Interactions: close collaboration with the relevant Regional Marketing Manager ANZ, the Channel Marketing Manager and Sales Managers for the relevant channels
  • Channel-specific planning of the marketing mix for the brand/product segment assigned to. For launches and re-launches, the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy is being conducted across channels. The following must be considered, especially for product launches:

    • Market and competitor analysis
    • Product and assortment concept
    • Positioning concept
    • Define value proposition (products: services)
    • Distribution concept
    • Price positioning concept
    • Customer / Consumer Insights
    • Marketing concept incl. Marketing-Mix
    • Controlling incl. KPIs
  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on market trends, consumer/customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the brand/product/service
  • Analyse and draw conclusions/measures from sell-in and sell-out figures, monthly reports with KPI's and competitor update. Interactions: in cooperation with the Channel Marketing Manager and sales management team
  • Develop and conduct product and channel-specific trainings for new entrants and regular trainings of the salesforce
  • Maintain, manage, and improve Sales Support routines: product complaint handling, local needs for reimbursement system, regular coordination with supply chain, fulfilment services
  • Support / manage products tests in real customers during the product development / pre-launch phase working with KOLs
  • Manage assigned A&P budget
  • Take part in field sales meetings, trade fairs and congresses, symposia and other internal / external events as well as in individual training courses and other media available for trainings ongoing
  • Enter data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date customer records; to track the status of orders, deliveries, or activities and/or generate sales reports and statistics
  • Meet Customer Service KPI's outlined for your role
  • Communicate with fellow team members to ensure information and knowledge is shared
  • Close alignment with Operation and Logistic teams to ensure forecasting accuracy, product introduction management and set up is complete in line with global and local requirements.
  • Ongoing demand planning responsibility of assigned portfolio.
  • Customer complaint management and customer communication where required.

To Be Considered For This Role, You Will Possess

  • Extensive working knowledge and understanding of Acute Wound Care
  • Good understanding of the Australian/New Zealand healthcare environment
  • University Degree in Business, Marketing or of a similar field is advantageous
  • 3+ years marketing experience or of a similar field
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication, influencing and analytical skills
  • IT Savvy
  • Mobility
