We have an exciting opening for a SEO & Social Media Digital Marketing Specialist

As a SEO & Social Media Specialist you will be working across the wide spectrum found within digital marketing encompassing , content marketing, analytics, CRO and organic social media, and more. You will work with the other specialists and executives across Rotapix to ensure successful delivery of organic search and wider digital marketing product to our clients.

As SEO & Social Media Digital Marketing Specialist you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of activities to satisfy your client and the team. If you are the ideal candidate, you’ll have:

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience within an SEO or content marketing role
  • A relevant tertiary marketing degree from an accredited institute is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to analyse data and identify trends
  • Experience with analytics packages such as Google Analytics is desirable
  • Previous web development or CMS experience is a bonus
  • A creative mind and a passion for all things digital

What will you do on a daily basis?

Let’s look a bit more at what you will do on a daily basis. You’ll be responsible for:

Marketing activities:

  • Delivering SEO plans for your clients
  • Conducting keyword, Content writing concept and category research using a variety of tools Producing detailed and accurate technical and content audit documents
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of clients’ accounts to identify trends
  • Develop and deliver social media outreach campaigns
  • Actively manage influencer prospects, link opportunities and external networks
  • Attend internal meetings with client interaction
  • Help the account team prepare and deliver new business opportunities
  • Deliver reports such as competitive analysis or monthly client status reports

Internal activities:

  • Carefully manage your own workload of clients and new business
  • Communicating closely with the rest of the team including SEO, social, creative and analytics specialists, client services teams, other Mediabrands stakeholders and your line manager to ensure projects are on track
  • Ensuring policy and procedure are followed at each stage of a project

Salary: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
