Hose and Hydraulics is a Locally owned mobile service and repair network specialising in the maintenance and replacement of Hydraulic and Industrial hose and fittings. We service and actively promote our services to a diverse range of customers, from heavy machinery and manufacturing to Construction sites and Industrial plant. Our reputation and customer base is built on supplying a quality product, genuine service and a great team.

We are looking to employ a fulltime mobile hose technician to assist with our break down work and build a dedicated customer base of their own.

The Role:

This is a hands-on role where travel is required. You will be servicing our customers on site in breakdown situations that at times will require some problem solving and initiative to get them back up and running. You will be looking for new opportunities and working to build relationships with potential customers to build up your own customer base whilst servicing our current customers as and when required. Due to the nature of our client’s business, all mobile hose technicians are required to participate in an on-call roster and be available for out of hours work if required. Full training is provided, along with all tools and uniform required to perform the role

About You:

Trade qualified or have a mechanical/hydraulic background? It is an advantage but not essential
Motivated self-starter and able to set and meet clear goals
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship
Mature and confident and able to work under pressure
Customer service focused with strong numeracy and communication skills
Well-presented and able to establish and maintain new and existing customer relationships
Desire to succeed within a team environment
A current drivers licence with no restrictions
Have a white card, or be able to get one
Understand WHS and Safe work practices
Able to participate in the on-call roster and work overtime as and when required
